Lucky loser #136 Jurgen Zopp, a 30-year-old Estonian with only six tour-level wins on clay in his career, beats #14 Jack Sock 6-7(4), 6-2, 4-6, 7-6(5), 6-3. Collapses to ground in joy after winner on match point. He trailed 4-1 in fourth set tiebreak.

Wish sock could make more progress. So few promising American male players these days.

So Jopp is the 3rd lucky loser to move to 3rd round after Marco Truncelliti & Bemelmans ?? Other LL Bollelli took 13 games off Nadal, the most since Nole in 2015

I'm Estonian and so happy for Jürgen!!! I went totally nuts after his last point 😂 What a game 😮😱 I'm not very familiar with Sock but he was rather arrogant during the game

I have been following the lucky losers since this heartwarming story on Trungelliti (and his grandma). So far, 4 of the 8 have moved on to the 2nd round: Trungelliti, Bemelmans, Zopp and Stakhovsky. Good for them. Polansky next.
