Brexit MEP June Mummery complains that we won't have influence in... the ...er EU ... after Brexit. Permission to laugh.

The cliff-edge is as real as it ever was. The only thing that stood before it was an independent-minded parliament. Now we will spend 11 months huffing and puffing about how strong and great we are and then tumble over the edge.

Yup. Have consistently argued since the Dawlish rail line collapse that we urgently need an additional Dawlish avoiding rail line inland between Powderham & Newton Abbot. Instead, the Goverment plans to move the line at Dawlish *further* out to sea. 🙄

Yes, Lisa is a real talent. For me, Keir edges the other candidates on the qualities & experience needed to unite Labour & be PM. What’s vital is our next leader draws on all of Labour’s broad church, based on ability, not ideology.

I’m backing Dr Rosena for Deputy. Her campaign is full of warmth, light optimism & honesty, exactly what Labour needs more of She’s undoubtably the Deputy Leadership candidate I trust most to take on antisemitism in our party - I think she’s way out in front on this

Our policy was set by Conference approving an NEC statement drafted by Jeremy. Wasn't wrong: 53% voted for parties demanding another ref. But our ambiguity (a forlorn attempt to appease Brexiters) lost us more votes to the LibDems,Greens&SNP than we lost to the Tories.

We need to have an honest conversation about why we’ve lost four elections in a row - which is why I emailed every Labour Parliamentary candidate and our Councillors. Feedback is coming in thick and fast - thanks to all who are taking part, keep it coming.

It beggars belief that we’re back to ‘no deal’ threats again - and cab ministers who say trading with EU on WTO terms “isn’t so bad”. Seriously? What an ambition for any govt to have. No wonder the world thinks we’ve gone mad. .

The Tories & Leave campaigners lied about . These lies will come back to haunt them fast. Essential we have a competent & effective Labour opposition to hold them to account.

Two points -final acceptance that referendum promise that we’d have exactly the same benefits of the single market was false. -pledging to double economic growth at the same time as leaving world‘s biggest trade bloc seems, erm, ambitious.
