FWIW here’s our look using 2013 consumer expenditure data and mapping spending patterns to OR demographics, volumes look OK but share of total spending down u til Millebnials reach 45+ as you note

I grew up in Wisconsin and always assumed the ability to chug beer was a high school graduation requirement - such was its importance. But then I was in HS so long ago that the drinking age was 19 (but about 16 in practice).
