📼 118/300 – Star Heck: The Next Degeneration. A spoof by a friendly chap called Dale Dennis. Produced when he and I both worked at . I think this is the only time my only contribution to a show has been acting in it. It was a heavy make-up.

I used to trade VHS tapes with one chap in the 80's – I can still remember the Caramel Corn jingle :-)

Home now so here's some more Aldbourne tweets. For those who don't know, the village was one of Doctor Who's most memorable locations after being used for a two-week shoot for the 1971 serial The Daemons. This film was made by a resident during the shoot:

Saw this today at the . 'The Scream' – in any of its six versions – is the perfect symbol of Edvard Munch, poor chap. Loads of curvy, dark and beautiful work, less symbolic than I was expecting. He witnessed well the terrible times he endured. Exhibit ends 21 July.

It's a shame I haven't the space or inclination to dig my copy out for framing and hanging, because they're all really nice shots.

Many of you will have seen this video before, but if not, take a look. It's a great demonstration that cats and humans may share some aspects of visual processing that drive the rotating snakes illusion.

Yaz' face – seeing everything she joined the police for in the woman who just flies in and fixes stuff like a boss. Ryan talking to himself and saying famous people's last names is top LOLs. And the big Doctor staredown – I used to think you needed heavy Pertwee eyelids for that.

Oh wow. This sounds great! is directing William Gibson’s lost Alien III script for - with Michael Biehn & Lance Henriksen back as Hicks & Bishop. With Dirk at the helm, you know it’s going to be a fantastic cinematic listen.

I love Dark Eyes but hadn't really noticed that shift. That was where I came back to the range once Charley went. Having recently seen Ms Smith giving it loads in Inside No.9 I'm suddenly keen to go back...

The Eighth Doctor and Lucie Miller return to in a couple of month's time. But what if their earlier adventures were released in a similar manner to the current run? He's how I visualise the first set.

There are gaps in my awareness of the complete run of photo work for Big Finish Eighth Doctor. Was there a moment – or even a story – where he lost the 'dandy' look? A summary of 'the changing face of Doctor Eight' would make a great thread.
