To increase inclusion in STEM, we are going to have to push institutions to think more carefully about compensation for students in the summer. Honors Programs, Undergrad Grants, etc that pay only for supplies are fostering a system where only rich kids can do research.

Mother's Day was yesterday, but here is a picture of my mom. Today she finished this, her 400th quilt donated to Seidman Cancer Center to help comfort patients undergoing treatments.
