Fully agree with you , in T20 there should be an option to recall batsman if he is struggling without him having to throw his wicket away. After all you can replace a bowler middle of over if he is bowling rubbish, need some innovation on this front

It's been a fun & competitive so far, many close games, couple of super overs, only one inconsequential game to be played on the last day & even those 2 have played some humdingers at Dharamsala in the past! cc:

Since Rayudu's debut, Dinesh Karthik averages 46.83 at a similar strike rate with few more runs saved in the field or dismissals behind stumps, you see numbers don't always reveal something! Cc:

It doesn't, it's still average but what the selectors r saying is its worth investing in a young WK in Tests at the cost of a drop or two but in high stakes CWC cant afford that. Post CWC he is the 1st choice keeper in all 3 formats

if anything in ODIs Vijay Shankar has been as impressive or unimpressive as Rayudu but how can you judge him so harshly after some T20 inn for SRH? For that matter neither Rayudu or Kedar have lit it up for CSK neither has Pant for DC cc:

Disappointed in your analysis , I hope you watch that India inn again, in fact in that innings Shankar was the one who gave the momentum. It's fine if you don't think VS hasn't proven himself but please don't make out Rayudu to be a match winner cc:

It's your right to say Vijay Shankar hasnt impress you in the IPL so far but you mentioned the "amazing" Rayudu 91 in NZ, Rayudu struggled big time in that inn, kept playing release shots, was dropped thrice, could have been out anytime cc:
