One of the passenger doors of the airplane can be seen in this footage. It has been said that initially two of the passengers survived, but unfortunately, they passed away as well in the way of hospital.

So, the bombs you used had modern-era proximity fuze not the Vietnam era ones which were sensitive to any kind of impact caused by mistake of the weapon officers during loading. What I have always seen in the videos from Libya is that they install after loading similar to RuAF.

Seems you are not familiar with these. No matter what bomb they are. This is safety procedure to install fuze after loading the bomb on airplane. Mk.82 bombs in Iranian Air Force 👇

Yes, with the help of some of my ex-colleagues from Self-Sufficiency Branch of Air Force in early 1990s. The project failed & Libya contracted a Chinese company to equip a C-130H with inflight refueling pods for them.

The six Su-24MKs which delivered in 1989 all entered in service of 1124 Squadron of Arab Air Force in Ghardabiya Air Base. They were all airworthy until 2011 when they were all destroyed during the war.
