It’s only been a couple of months but I’m already counting down until we see these ladies fly again. I’m getting way too used to fast jet settings at the moment!

It was my privilege to take 94-yr-old Lancaster Rear Gunner Ron Needle to to see a beloved Lancaster Bomber. He was 1 of only 2 survivors when his Lanc came down in France 1945. He still misses his mates & says a prayer for them every night.

A couple of big announcements this week. First up, and new to our fleet, a fully airworthy Alouette 2 helicopter along with a matching gimbal version! If your Production needs a military chopper from the 60’s/70’s/80’s then look no further!

Some have a favourite Hurricane, especially , but I was indifferent. I flew LF on Members’ Day for sentimental reasons because she was the first Warbird I flew.

Having left I’ve now got time to catch up on 3 year’s worth of reading. Just finished ’s superb book Spitfire. A truly thrilling and very moving book about the finest machine ever built and those who flew her. A steal for £5 on Amazon.
