doesn’t even have the decency to be ‘quiet’ during the funeral. Dreadful person.

Not sure what else he should do. I remember that Nixon wasn’t invited to Kennedy’s funeral despite them being friends in the senate. This was the spite of the kennedys.

DJT made a strategic mistake by entering into politics and becoming president. He is trapped. In the WH cage. Has no option but to now wait for law enforcement lions and hyenas to start converging on him. Don’t they say ‘beware what you wish for’. Should have stayed put in NYC..

But of course he’s been tweet storming and now playing golf instead of showing respect to an American hero by keeping quiet & watching service on TV. Makes total sense in the current political climate 🤨. What’s terrifying is that it DOES indeed make sense in this crazy time !!

I find it unusual that two days in succession there have been high-profile funerals where President Trump has been the focus of many people's attention.....despite him not being in attendance at either.

Looking forward to the next poll on presidential popularity.... after that shellacking by everyone, including Kissinger, carried live on the favourite tv channel of his "base": Fox. Turning point?

I don't go to someones funeral who I didn't like either. Be far worse if he went. Then he'd be ridiculed for that. You lot just won't give in

Not a fan of Trump but surely the reason he isn't there is because the family don't want him there. Doesn't excuse his classless tweeting but it does explain why he isn't at the service. He tweets because he always wants the focus to be on him.

You could never accuse Trump of hypocrisy at least.

His funeral should be in character with his presidency - bury him in a bunker!

IIRC he was specifically uninvited. However your TDS tweet is not unusual at all. Though bizarre for a supposedly impartial editor of a state broadcaster.

He is just getting more and more erratic... there is no way anyone who has worked in politics and news not call out this behaviour as wrong ... all the people complaining about bias etc. clearly want to see the world run down by idiots..
