THE BUTTON MAN by . Always loved his stuff but the historical thrillers are fantastic. THE ONE MAN is one of the best books I've ever read.

Yes, the need for power projection will keep our fleet at sea, but this new threat should not be overlooked. As an aside, Brian thinks that it is justification for eliminating the surface fleet & the DOD transitioning to an all submarine Navy...but he's biased :-)

As a land based system, THAAD could be a solution for protecting our ports, but what about when a Carrier Strike Group is at sea? We think that rapid development and deployment of shipboard directed energy weapons is the countermeasure that will prove effective vs this new threat

Do Hypersonic weapons (projectiles exceeding speeds of Mach 5 and indefensible with current technology) render our conventional fleet obsolete?

"And that’s what this book is. A story about a journey back to God. And, yes—one most all who have been in combat or loved someone who has can relate to. But more than that, it is about bringing the hope of the risen Jesus to those most in need."
