The new proposal for does not forsee any measures/„upload filter“ .... Now I expect everyone who was against the previous proposal because of this to support the new proposal.

Unfortunately I’m still against. No real changes here. It still makes platforms liable & therefore they need a licence. That means upload filters will be necessary to block anything potentially unlicensed. Also nothing new to address the concerns on the publishers right

Hi Daniel: BTW ... this is reduced now to existing law only ... and you are still against? Very surprising!! You don’t want measures, you don’t want liability ... are you sure you still want a copyright?? Best Axel

Is there a readable version already? You can say all you want we need to see it ourselfs and decide ourselfs.

I was against the EC proposal because of mandatory upload filter. I was against your JURI proposal because it eliminates the E-commerce safe harbor for online platforms without any adequate replacement.

And I won't be surprised one bit if your new proposal is yet another attempt to turn the open internet into a glorified cable TV.

Can you please provide a link to the new proposal? The prior Article 13 did endanger innovation and jobs all across Europe, we are curious if that danger still is present. Always consider the whole digital landscape of StartUps & innovative companies in the EU - and protect them.
