It was great to hear it live Lauren - fantastic night with fantastic musicians. 🎢🎻🎻🎹🎸πŸ₯πŸ‘Ό(angel especially for Rachel since there's no harp emoji!) and not forgetting πŸŽ™οΈat the back of the hall.

...and so it continues. "I'm cold, may I have a scarf?" "Oh! may I have one too please?" "...and me, pretty please, thank you." Polite... if persistent Polar Bears! πŸ™„

How do you know there are two elephants in your fridge? Two sets of footprints in the butter. How do you get four elephants in a mini? Two in the front two in the back. How do you know you have four elephants in your fridge? There's a mini parked outside.😁

Chaos always ensues when it's time for a new gang of Cotton Bears to choose their bows... no prizes for guessing who has to tidy up the mess of ribbon once they are finished. πŸ™„

Our kids at Cromarty Primary have written, performed and recorded their own song to raise funds for MFR Schools Challenge. They did it all in _2 days_ including the artwork for CD. We're so proud of them, would you mind spreading the word ? πŸ€— -

Great night out at last night with good luck with the rest of the tour. If you haven't seen them - seek them out Daimh - Dhannsamaid le Ailean (Live at Celtic Connections 2016) via

Epson Claria ink on satin photo paper in a south facing window we can't put other studio stock in as it fades after just a couple of days. Seems a pretty conclusive test to me and verifies the quality of the prints in our print browser that are on much better quality paper. πŸ˜€

A lesson today in just why genuine printer inks are so much more expensive than cheap aftermarket refills. I've just replaced the lettering in the Studio window... after 9 years in a south facing window!

The mystery object was indeed a Darning Loom, well done to all who got it. Not that I'm planning on simply darning with it of course, that would be too easy, but with a small tweak it could be used for making mini weavings. 🧢🧡

On our recent sojourn to the wildlife book festival in Grantown I picked up this dinky little gizmo in the local Antique shop... So what do you think it is and how could I use it? p.s I already know... it says on the box! 😁

This is Chanonry, he turned out to be a bit of a "Lovie" channelling Sir John Gielgud. One of the first miniature bears I ever made he goes with us all over the place - he even had pride of place in top pocket when we got married. He collects celebrity selfies!πŸ“ΈπŸ˜Ž

I did actually photograph the Eagles as well but only had my 135mm lens on the camera so has better photos of them.
