To me, the lights of this Russian city along the Volga River appear like the fossilized remains of a dinosaur. My last goodnight post of the year seems fitting to be of a country where I spent much of 2019, Goodnight !

How does it feel to be looking over earth thinking it’s 2020 down there. Only to, minutes later be looking down and thinking “Oh look, it’s 2019 again”. The only other place this is common is the South Pole. We walked from ‘95 to ‘96 then back over and over. Happy New Year!
