Generosity of the hand is to give & not expect anything back Generosity of the mind is to share beneficial knowledge Generosity of the body is to pray often Generosity of the face is to smile at strangers And generosity of the eyes is to shed tears for Allāh

Some ppl you meet in life take the one wrong you do & use it to define you- as if they can’t see any of your good. The Prophet ﷺ said: A Muslim is like a mirror to a fellow Muslim. A mirror will show you the flaws without covering up the good

Shaykh Muhammad al-Amin al-Shanqīti was a great scholar of Qur'ān. Once amongst dignitaries a student of his noticed the thobe under his robe was badly torn. He suggested changing it but the Shaykh said “My son the blade of the sword is what counts, not the sheath that covers it”

Today my eldest daughter turned 9 🥳 First thing in the morning we sat down to fill in a daily journal. To my complete surprise she wrote down these two answers for 1. Today I am grateful for 2. What would make today great? 😯🤗 🌹

If you have a vision that is anything less than grand you will never reach your potential or know your worth. So think big & aim high. Bismillah.

Too many care about equality between the sexes when we should be concerned with harmony between the sexes. We don’t want men to oppress women and we don’t want women to overpower men, all we want is to create a society that cultivates human life at its highest potential.

Here’s a neat when reading , when you hear this surah is Makki put yourself in Makkah for a while and cast your mind back to the struggles of the Prophet ﷺ & his Companions. Now you can hear the echoes of that struggle coming through those verses

يا أَيُّهَا الإِنسانُ ما غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الكَريمِ People! what has deluded you from your Generous Master? The word “Generous” is used as some take the idea of Allāh being generous to an extreme which deludes them into thinking He won’t punish them for wilfully disobeying Him

When you realise some things are going to be left behind it helps you to stop being so obsessed with them. Things like money, your home, and even your body & face that you spend so much time on will leave you & turn to dust. The only thing that stays with you are your good deeds

Surah al-Asr (103) sums it up so eloquently “By the ˹passage of˺ time! Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss, except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance”
