It's well worth climbing as it's summit is incredibly rugged for such a modest little fell!

Brantfell and Windermere. Sunrise looking down Lake Windermere, a sunrise shoot for a potential new panorama. Not a bad shot given my abysmal tripod (twigpod, rather....)

Summer exhibition at LakesArt Grasmere. Following on from my solo in 2019. Fifty new (mostly small) paintings including a flock of Herdwicks and lots of summer pictures. A fine large and too. New large for Keswick soon.

Brantfell looking down Windermere. This is what happens when your tripod is still in your van which is still in the garage! However walking pole tripod clamp and two twigs made for a makeshift tripod. Good thing it was not windy! Other poles in van..

Framing is underway for my delayed exhibition of lockdown paintings for LakesArt Grasmere in August.4 larger pieces and 44 small works. I would have painted more large pictures but unforseen childcare has instead produced a raft of small pieces, some I waited years to paint!
