Ironically, even the "charging slowly" protections that this thread started with didn't help and didn't prevent the battery from bloating.

Oh wow... just found out why the wireless charging stopped working on the Pixel 3... check out the battery bloat that pushed the back cover out. I had this happen on several phones before but not in many years. Yikes.

FWIW, I haven't been too happy with this solution, but this was an effective first step to try to fight ad fraud. We may adjust these rules in the future though since they're also sweeping up legitimate users using VPNs.

You were blocked? You said you were the one who blocked us. You saw an "are you human?" challenge. Are you actually a human or you couldn't solve the captcha and therefore I'm talking to a bot?

Yes, those are good VPN services. But they're also being used by malicious actors, and we recently chose to challenge them to prevent automated traffic, ad fraud, and scraping.

If you're accessing the site through a public proxy server or VPN from where we see significant malicious traffic, you may get a challenge from Cloudflare now.

What are all the discounts you're using? Also, why get 512GB when you can get the base one and throw in a much cheaper SD card?

It's also loading tons of blanks. I think I've only ever seen an ad actually load once or twice, which makes it look even more terrible. I can't believe someone actually approved this design and thought, "yup, this looks good." No, it makes our site look broken and thirsty.
