Reasons why we haven’t picked Slack (and other tools) for Rust: lack of sophisticated moderating and boundary setting tooling. Slack is especially hard because it is - by design - not built for open communities.

Can't you ban people from slack? Or is it particularly limited in this area? Agree that it isn't built for open communities.

You can just completely remove them, but hat has to be done by a full admin, there’s no mods.
