I have had something from Asia at Canadian Customs (I think?) sitting since Dec 28. It's an expedited parcel but all I see on Canada Post is that the shipping label was created but the tracking number from the original shipper says it landed in YVR?🤷‍♀️

Really enjoyed this article on millennial burnout by ... It def spoke to me as I looked my long list of easy errands to run etc (e.g. donate the stuff already organized + packed) + also helped by putting in context and words around how I feel!

This swine and dine dinner is no joke... the portions are massive (even for family style) - Loved the roasted vegetable salad + croquettes! The roast pork loin + belly and apple + bacon fritters were also v good. 🤤

That would make sense! When my grandparents moved to Edmonton with the kids, they moved to opening a corner store in Westmount instead of doing the restaurant thing.

No - in small towns around Alberta back in the '50s/'60s. The names escape me at the moment but I think close-ish to the AB/SK border.

Thanks for sharing Alexis! I will have to look for this when it comes out - my family also ran Chinese restaurants back in the day. 🙂
