It’s an excellent though v sad debate given it’s 2019 & we seem to be going backwards on building a better more equal society for everyone. Good turn out on the opposition benches but not a single backbench MP here. ..

Surprise, surprise - Labour leadership keep kicking that can down the road.... Apparently going to discuss further at ‘future meeting’. Perhaps 1st November?

Wouldn’t describe this as “fiery” I’d describe it as yet again proving herself to be an excellent broadcaster & journalist. Fully informed and tenacious, who understands the inherent political dishonesty policy

Sorry to tweet about politics - I’m trying not to - but I look at the news in the morning and I’m sickened by what has happened to our country. It’s a great place, about to be ruined by absolute charlatans.

. must withdraw this horrible language especially given the murder of a former colleague & repeated death threats to MPs. We need leaders who use mature & responsible words if we are to build alliances, fix our broken politics & restore faith in politicians

The most damning of references from a former boss. can’t say they haven’t been warned & the British people will never forgive them for allowing the “cavorting charlatan” to despoil the office of Prime Minister |Max Hastings

Morning this is what leadership looks like & this is the honest analysis you are incapable of delivering. Time for every MP to put their country before their party & to speak truth to power.

And this reply from a member of the Brexit Party speaks volumes about who really appeals to.

Watch now - it clearly exposes why is completely unfit to be our Prime Minister - based on incontrovertible evidence - his record. If, as looks likely, members vote for him the people of this country will never forgive the Conservative Party.

This is why Boris Johnson is hiding from scrutiny: he knows that his plan is built on misinformation, bluster and obfuscation. It's time to come clean, Boris.

Find it somewhat hypocritical that elements (not all) of our press are chastising folk for giving a newspaper a story when the same press repeatedly ask, and often pay, for stories dishing the dirt on ‘celebrities’ on a regular basis. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If there is no Withdrawal Agreement there is no implementation period. We crash out. Ignore the fancy words. Either Boris Johnson hasn’t a clue what he is doing or he is being deliberately deceptive. Either way he is unfit to be prime minister.

"I wouldn't vote for either of them." leader says she wouldn't choose or to become Tory leader and PM. She says it's "outrageous" that the Conservatives alone are voting for the next leader.
