To be fair Jack some of our soldiers very likely killed his relatives. It’s like you being asked to commemorate fallen troops who have fought against the UK. I read an article and he was respectful of soldiers lives but doesn’t want to wear a poppy. Fair enough if you ask me.

No my reply was to Andy because he said it was March, I’m not bothered about McClean wearing one or not, was just making a point of people who wear them the back end of October and start of November then don’t for another year, IMO they should be worn all year round

How about wearing one for all soldiers regardless of side? To commemorate all wars and casualties, even the atrocities we've been complicit in? After all, they're just governments cannon fodder. Even the Geneva convention of 1922 made sure POWs were split between officer/soldiers
