Teachers are experts in the field of educating our children. We need to treat them like it! Thank you Senator for always fighting for what’s best for IL students, teachers and education. We have a long road to get there, but you’ve started paving the way.

Govt “efficiency” fueled by voter disenfranchisement is plain wrong. This throw-back law applicable only to voters in Abraham Lincoln’s hometown needs to be wiped out. I’m for direct democracy.

My promise to Taylorville: I'm going to make sure the State of IL helps you in your time of need. Our bi-partisan, balanced budget includes $500k to help Taylorville w/ expenses from the devastating Dec '18 tornado that hit this great central IL city.

Session is over but this fight has begun. Insulin is too expensive for real people who need it & would like to stay alive. Price manipulation + profit + unfettered greed are allowed to rule the day. But they won’t after we pass to cap cost of at $100/mo in IL.

I find your comment a little disappointing. You know our infrastructure is in complete disrepair. Roads have to be fixed. Bridges have to be fixed. While I appreciate compliment about being nice, please know this all about making difficult choices for the future of our state.
