Here’s a look at the new feature roof taking shape over Central station as part of construction. Once complete, Central’s concourse will mirror some of the great stations around the world, like Kings Cross and St Pancras in London, and New York’s Central station.

We’re turning rubbish into roads. The NSW Government is expanding the use of recycled glass to help make asphalt for our roads, reducing the amount of waste going into landfill.

NSW is in the middle of a road and rail boom. We’re halfway through building the missing link between the M4 and M5, which will save motorists 40min between Parramatta & the airport. More than 6,800 workers have been involved in the project so far!

While people are staying home more due to COVID-19, we need to make sure we don’t become complacent on our roads as a result. Sadly, speeding and seatbelt related road deaths have doubled compared to this time last year. Please take care on our roads. Slow down and buckle up.

Despite there being fewer cars on the road during the coronavirus pandemic, the number people dying due to speed or not wearing a seatbelt has increased dramatically this year. The message is simple: slow down and buckle up.

In line with advice, we strongly recommend wearing a face mask 😷 while using public transport – not only there, but anywhere you can’t physically distance. It’s not a lot to ask – to protect you and those around you. Have some fun with it.
