I met Captain Terri Nemethy USAF in Paducah. She told me about her late father, an interim commander of Ft. Campbell who served in WWII, Korea & Vietnam. I was honored to give her a campaign Challenge Coin. This is why I’m running. I won’t give up on KY.

Freedom to me means opportunity. But you don't have access to this if you don’t have access to a high-quality education, if you're discriminated against, or if the cards are stacked against you. Part of fully realizing freedom is ensuring everyone can vote.

Expanding Medicaid, part of the ACA, has been a lifeline to thousands of Kentuckians, but 5.5% of Kentuckians still don’t have health care coverage, and 6.4% of Black Kentuckians lack insurance. I won’t rest until those numbers are zero.

This weekend, members from both parties were working to get a bipartisan bill passed for needed COVID relief. But who did nothing and will likely obstruct any meaningful relief, no matter who else supports it? I don’t have to say his name. You know who it is.
