Last night Councilor Hanneke and I introduced our draft local campaign finance bylaw. This new bylaw would set contribution limits for local elections in Amherst below the state limits. Take a look at the draft language and the new proposed limits.

The Town Council meeting is not being broadcast live at this time. is aware of the situation. The meeting is streaming online but not getting to Channel 17. They are aware of the situation and working to rectify the situation.

Our Highway Div. has been busy! Here is a small sampling: in last 5 years: resurfaced 12.53 miles of road, swept 1,350 road miles, patched 3,370 tons worth of potholes, 13,266 salt tons to keep roads safe in winter and created 13,209 linear feet of new sidewalk.
