Reminder not to touch RT (Russia Today) with a barge pole. I hope Putin condemns this racism from RT’s chief editor. [Content warning: strong racism.]

NEW: Full guidance for more than 2million ‘shielded’ people has now been published. 1/2 From tomorrow, if you’re shielding, you can see someone from another household (at a 2 metre distance outdoors) - but only *if* you live alone, and “ideally the same person each time”.

ADPH warns test and trace is “far from being the robust operation” urgently required to ease lockdown & calls for delay in changes. “The risk of a spike in cases and deaths cannot be overstated; this needs to be understood not only by the public but also by the Government.”

This is alarming. Public health chiefs warn they are “increasingly concerned” the Government is “misjudging this balancing act” between getting life back to normal and keeping public safe and is “lifting too many restrictions, too quickly”.

The Director of 1ry Care at NHS England wasn't told anything about the new arrangements for those shielding. Seriously. Poor GP's surgeries tomorrow.

🔥Dr Jenny Harries says Prof Van-Tam's remarks about Dominic Cummings were "exactly right". "I can assure you from a level of personal and professional integrity, I'd always try to follow the rules... The important thing is they are rules for all of us".

I've come across it a bit in industry (e.g. 1 company only employed Oxbridge grads to work in management - quite a few were hopeless) but not like I see in the media. I'd have had no chance coming from NE London 😀.

Or perhaps we should just build council houses so that people can be sure that they can have a home without the threat of eviction by bad private landlords (I know not all private landlords are bad)

My mum: “Nick, why am I bothering to self isolate when that Cummings lad swanned off to Durham and loads of MPs are shagging their lovers here there and everywhere.” Another tricky question I have no answer for. 🤷‍♂️
