It's ridiculous how Republicans have normalized the idea that judicial nominees should not share any information about how they plan to do their job. Can you imagine any other job interview going that way?

Their stance is that jurists are political and not independent. They made that clear when they refused to hold a hearing for Garland and 100s of district & appellate court nominees. The only real requirement in a politicized judiciary is loyalty to the party.
