Additionally, the fact that this man chose two Saudi state-owned broadcasters to perform his theatrics on, and not any other anti-Hezbollah local TV, raises a million questions over the authenticity of his motives. His own family distanced itself from him in a statement today.

Hezbollah’s IHA, like the Red Cross, the Red Crescent, and all other civil defense organizations, accepts thousands of unpaid volunteers each year from all backgrounds for humanitarian work. This does not make them Hezbollah members, not in the slightest organizational sense.

Hanin, a self-professed Hezbollah expert, doesn’t know a fact as simple as that the card shown by this man claiming to be a member of Hezbollah’s Islamic Health Association, is a volunteering card (which expires this month in either case), not a membership card.

It’s honestly fascinating how shameless this group of purported DC experts is in clutching at straws to prove an inexistent case. I don’t say this lightly, the effort put into pure unrepentant deception after being called out countless times, year after year, is truly phenomenal.

New poll: 90% of Lebanese Shiites have a favorable view of . 92% of Lebanese Shiites view Iran's regional policies as positive. So much for the claim that mean end of Hezbollah and Iranian influence.

Thanks for the gest Nick. I just want to make it clear I did not co-write the paper. I merely assisted with the research process.

Super honored to have research-assisted on this. Along with the theoretical component, the paper is based on interviews with 6 Hizbullah senior officials and commanders in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq, plus an examination of 17 Nasrallah speeches over the past decade.

Of course not. I know they do. I’m talking about the state’s public policy and official recognition of the Jewish sect.

Neither Hezbollah nor the Lebanese state, the parties of relevance to what I’m talking about, do. I’m failing to grasp where you think I “pretend” common people don’t do that.

If meeting Hezbollah makes Corbyn an anti-Semite (a claim in and of itself racist, Islamophobic, and especially anti-Semitic), does this mean the Lebanese state, whose Parliament and consecutive cabinets include Hezbollah, and whose army is supported by the UK, is anti-Semitic?

This is grounded in a flawed premise that Hizb would allow such a scenario. March 8 will form a unicolor government before considering this.

“There is an old African saying, “I am we.” If you met an African in ancient times and asked him who he was, he would reply, “I am we.” This is revolutionary suicide: I, we, all of us are the one and the multitude.” — Huey Newton, 1973.

That a Lebanese man who was a few hundred dollars in debt, hung himself in despair after his wife asked him to give his daughter 50 cents, is a reminder that neoliberalism is a crime against humanity and that socio-economic security is no less a priority than traditional security

A simple 5-minute tour on Ouwwet and Kataeb’s official Twitter accounts will show you how they’re claiming the revolution and mobilizing. You don’t even have to listen to their daily statements, just Twitter. The ‘Revolution Coordination Council’ even called out this hijacking.
