Aside from the merits of Lisa’s candidacy, there is something enormously powerful about the symbolism of the Jewish Labour Movement nominating the Chair of Labour Friends of Palestine to lead the Labour Party.

When was introduced in 1949 80% of the population was eligible for legal aid. Now it’s just 20%. As takes part in the today this cake is symbolic of what we have lost - now only the slice remains.

I've been to more CLPs than you've had hot dinners, was a member of the Labour since before you were born and I'm afraid I don't recognise your description and I don't accept that most CLP execs are undemocratic or unrepresentative.

We will all need to weigh up the policies being advocated by each candidate against our own and in the context of the party's democratic processes for drawing up our manifesto. I personally have no doubt about Keir's commitment to ending tuition fees

I don't think either candidate's Labour credentials are in doubt. Keir's pledges are in line with present Labour policies. What makes you say he doesn't seem supportive? But importantly he also has the experience and skill to win. We need an experienced leadership team.

Such distressing scenes from . Tear gas was used against families, including children. The camp, built for 2000, has ten times that number. We must all do more to assist refugees stranded on the Greek islands.

I've just handed in the book manuscript I've been working on for the last two years with Abdul Musa Adam, a young refugee who came to the UK under a lorry, originally from Darfur. On Brexit Day, this feels like an act of great hope. Thanks to Abdul for putting his faith in me.
