Sadly all but one of these bags of leaves is going to be collected as trash. Why? Because they are in plastic bags. Our yard waste truck normally comes around once/week on your trash day all year long. Get into the habit of using brown bags for leaves and other yard waste!

Leaf zone specific update: we have completed 2 passes in every zone, so the remaining upcoming dates for each zone are the 3rd and FINAL pass. If you don't get your leaves out, please bag the leaves for collection. As we've been doing each week, this is a tweet thread update.

Buying a gift with batteries? Some batteries require special disposal. If in doubt, bring them to the Household & Hazardous Waste site for safe disposal (protects the air and water). Normal hours of operation are Monday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Closed Dec. 24.

It can take time for people to adjust. Along w/ the stop sign, new stop bars were painted on the road, a large orange flag is at the top of the sign, & variable message boards in both directions are placed. We've reached out to so they can also help w/ awareness.

You've been asking for it and we've delivered (via the Traffic & Parking Board). At the corner of Cameron Mills and Summit/Monticello there is now a 4-way stop. We've got variable message boards to help with the transition, but please be aware that Cameron Mills now stops.
