It’s hard today not to feel sad, even worried about the future of Wales. But don’t lose hope. The red wall may have crumbled faced with that blue wave, but the green dam stood strong. How can we build it higher in other parts of Wales? Well, here’s how you can help

Plaid becoming the Government here in Wales in 2021 is vital. The Labour Welsh Government is part of the problem not part of the solution. Thr small ‘c’ conservative Government in Cardiff is no better than the Big ‘C’ one in London. That has to change.

Get involved with the wider Welsh independence movement. Join @YesCymru or at least join the conversation. Without a future as an independent nation we will simply disappear as an invisible region in an increasingly right-wing rump England-and-Wales.

What about Welsh voters, including myself, who feel somewhat disenfranchised because they don’t speak the mother tongue? Rightly, or wrongly, it feels like a club I can’t belong to.

My mother tongue is English and loads of our members don’t speak Welsh. Let’s not allow the language to divide us - in the deepest sense it belongs to all of us, whether we speak it or not.

We will win through inspiring people with the power of our ideas - our vision of the economy, environment, public services, transport, etc. I can help communicate this vision but many of the best ideas will come from you. Please share them with me on adam.price@assembly.wales

When I first voted there were no devolved parliaments and the SNP had 3 out of 72 MPs. A fringe party, a protest party. Look where we are today. The road will be long and hard Adam but we'll be with you every step of the way.

Spot on. I won't forget HOW marginal we were till devolution.
My WM stats: when I was born @theSNP had 0.5% vote & no seats till I was in Primary School.
When I first voted we got 2 seats. Since then we never got more than 6 seats! Till just 4.5 yrs ago.
Go @Plaid_Cymru!

Key challenge for Wales is to have a truly independent Welsh media reporting stories from Wales, about Wales, by people residing in Wales. View the current narrative alongside the Scottish press and you'll see how the anglo-centric message diminishes us as a country

100% this needs to happen. Reckon The National would start a Wales edition?
