My paternal grandparents met my maternal grandparents because they were both on the pro-integration side of a local school integration fight, years before my parents actually met each other

This is a provocative headline, but the piece describes a real phenomenon of consuming politics as entertainment rather than engaging in it in a way that changes outcomes

A great piece from on how little the rich pay in taxes relative to their income in comparison to everyone else...and how little most Dems tax plans would change that.

You should really go back to your own mentions and keep fav dog avis lobbing generic insults until you feel better about yourself.

Nah. It’s the same crowd that pretended to swear off the NFL because they were deeply offended that a few players said innocent people shouldn’t be killed by the police.

No, no one’s watching it. That’s why simply tweeting about it gets weird angry randos all up in your mentions defending the honor of the NFL.

Neither my tweet nor the documentary argues that "football made Hernandez kill people," but if there are survivors of sexual violence in your life, I hope they don't see this tweet and what it suggests.

I don’t. There is so much local culture built around football that did not exist with boxing.

Got it. Fwiw I don’t think they are saying CTE makes you a murderer, I think they are arguing the NFL is institutionally ill equipped to deal with the medical effects of the sport or players with serious issues.
