Every so often I remember that Tumblr post about how scary frogs would be if they ran around on their hind limbs and I get a clammy feeling up my back, as if a frog is standing behind me with its head cocked at a cursed-doll angle

5 years ago my dad texted me “i dreamed up the title of a poem last night” and i said “what was the title” and he said “Thoughts Upon Receiving Notice The Frogs Had Cast Off Their Green Skins and Revealed Their True Glorious Selves” and i have thought of that every day since.

Great Spielberg stuff, but you can also see the camera crane shadow cross the actor's body in the first shot, so it's also evidence no one's perfect by 25 either.

Been trying to tell ppl this for months but everyone just looks at me like I'm a crazy nerd: 'Within 15 years, thousands of miles of fiber optic cable—and hundreds of pieces of other key infrastructure—are likely to be swamped by the encroaching ocean.'

If you've ever wondered "uh... what IS a game mechanic, anyway?!" there's now a large encyclopedia of nearly 200 -- at least for tabletop games, minus improvisatory play. Tons of these are found in digital games too, naturally.
