Yes Roger, one of my many frustrations is watching physios and trainers fussing around patients making 100s of micro corrections when they’re exercising! Getting people to exercise is hard enough already without adding more unnecessary barriers such as doing it perfectly!

A brilliant rant by on the recent A Level grading debacle! Those who espouse grit and resilience are the most important factors in life, normally have had the most privilege and advantage in it!

And what’s all this nonsense about switching on core muscles, warming up, and stretching before starting to work to prevent injury! No evidence to support that! Tip no 4 is good thou... and should be tip no 1 and expanded on more!

Whoever is in charge of the media campaigns needs to rethink this current one they have for ‘tradies’ 🤦‍♂️ Potentially nocebic, doesn’t describe physio well, and the advice of don’t lift above shoulder height or below waist is utter nonsense and totally impractical! 🤦‍♂️

Absolutely loving the asymmetry posts on your Instagram. Not everyone is broken and needs correcting/releasing/needling/vibrating machinery etc 😄

I’m running a series on my Instagram page looking at some amazing people, doing some amazing things, with some amazing asymmetry to try and get more to recognise posture, stature, and symmetry are not a limitation in ability or performance! Check them out

Most orthos I know do not expect them to have manual therapy just 30 mins of robust movement a few times a week with lots of support and encouragement whilst is sore and there is perhaps some reluctance and fear!

As always patient centred care is key and there is no rule for all!

They do need to move lots and often after these procedures hence why many orthos say this! I think it depends on patient preference, some like, want, need lots of contact support encouragement to do this as it’s quite difficult and sore, others happy to do it themselves!

Nope that’s not what I’m saying at all 🤦‍♂️ Not sure how or why you assume that from what I’ve said? 🤔

I saw this at and was really impressed! I’m normally not one for ‘products’ or ‘gimmicks’ but this is very impressive work! Well done!

Possibly the most used word on social media debate these days. It’s a very important & emotive word. Often used with a tinge of passive aggression, which is very ironic. Let’s be aware of our bias, let’s challenge it but dont think u are above it because u say you know urs

For to recommend acupuncture for pain based upon very weak evidence of a clinically tiny effect in the face of a lack of a plausible mechanism, they are throwing patients to the wolves!
