Keir Starmer refuses to endorse Joe Biden for president over Trump. Says he wouldn’t endorse any presidential candidate, as somebody who wants to become prime minister.

Seems an odd position, considering Starmer's earliest chance to be Prime Minister will be 2024, the year of the next US election (so overlap would be minimal). He should show he's principled- unless he wants voters to think he might align with Trump.

That’s now what he said in the Labour leadership hustings. He said, “Anyone but Trump, we’ve got to get rid of this guy.”

Doesn't seem like Keir knows this, but being Prime Minister entails actually making decision on occasion
