Dr. Phil appears on Laura Ingraham and says we don’t shut the country down for automobile deaths, cigarette related deaths, and swimming pool deaths

The only reason why "Dr" Phil and "Dr" Oz have a platform is because of the clout they got from Oprah. They're now using that good faith to endanger lives on Fox News during a pandemic. HAS to clearly denounce them otherwise her silence will be viewed and used as approval.

If Oprah felt that an author lying his way into her book club deserved to be publicly called out, then it's fair to say that fake doctors endangering kids in her name should too.

You just coughed on a driver, and there is an accident. How did and get so bad? I thought these men were smart.

Yes, because I remember that time that I went over to a friend's house and they drowned in the pool, so I immediately drowned in the pool.

I have trouble believing they don't understand this. People are knowingly making bad faith arguments against TRYING TO DECREASE THE SEVERITY OF A PANDEMIC. Why is this a thing? This was not a thing when I was younger. Why are we so broken?

We regulate automobiles, cigarettes, and swimming pools, though. If we didn't, there would be a lot more deaths. Just like there will be a lot more deaths from this virus if we don't regulate it. Except many more all at once, given its transmissibility. Why are people so stupid.

A few weeks ago when this argument surfaced somewhere else, I dug into car crash stats. Speed limits, seat belts, air bags, vehicle design — we’ve mitigated the crap out of cars for decades, and drove the death rate (as a % of the population) down dramatically.
