I’m completely fooled by anyone walking through a front door and into an interior set in every movie always.

Combination of stabilizing and setting a plausible anchor point for my video layer, then animating the rocks to coincide with the kids shifting weight. The layer had a watery mask, and tons of VFX Suite reflections and displacements mixed with stock splashes.

Lots of stock footage on cards comped together, with some animated ‘roughen edges’ masks.

I wouldn’t mind that either sometimes- but between all the options E3D can offer, plus some of the new stuff on the horizon I’m pretty happy with being able to get pretty amazing GPU renders for the level of stuff I’m doing.

Are major news events ever broadcast simultaneously across times square IRL? Or are we leaning toward demonstrating some hacker’s skillz?

*posterize time effect (you don’t have to use an expression)

Adding a posterize time expression, and shuttling the value artistically between 6-24fps can give better stop-mo looks (effectively simulating 1’s,2’s&holds) esp if combined with an evolving turbulent displace that is a large scale, but small percentage to add imperfections.

When I split my Aquaman tutorial into two parts, all assets were split into two folders called "Aquaman" and "Baquaman". I smile every time I stumble across these dumb folders.
