A source familiar with Trump’s Tuesday Oval Office meeting with his coronavirus task force said the president is still not demonstrating that he has a firm grasp of the severity of the pandemic in the US. “He still doesn’t get it,” the source said. “He does not get it.”

As some members of the task force tried to stress the dire nature of the situation to the president during the meeting, the source said Trump repeatedly attempted to change the subject. “He starts talking about something else,” the source said.

The man is under the influence. If I showed up for my job like this I’d be drug tested STAT. Why is NO ONE talking about this! An addict cannot lead effectively.

The whole dilated eyes = drugs or love thing is overrated. My eyes are always like that and I don't like booze or drugs.

He would rather bury his head in the sand. His fragile ego can't handle the shame of his failure to act. He doesn't know how to fix it and he doesn't want anyone else to get credit for fixing it, so it just festers.

A little girl died in Florida today. I wonder if in this man’s dark soul there is a molecule of empathy for those dying like this little one. He doesn’t get it. He doesn’t t care, actually.

More Americans (180,000+) have died from COVID than all the hurricanes, natural disasters, and wars since WWII & Trump still doesn't get it? Trump gets it, but he can't in his own mind acknowledge his failure to be a winner.

If you would wait a while, you might find that some info we're told is not true or not factual yet. Like now. Less than 10,000 casualties from COVID. You may want to retweet, and say, oops, I made a mistake. I acted (tweeted) too quickly.
