We need to develop the awareness that nowadays we are either all saved together or no one is saved. , decadence and suffering in one part of the earth are a breeding ground for problems that will end up affecting the entire planet.

And that means Jesus doesn’t want us to work against poverty? Jesus explicitly tells us that care of the poor is essential for our personal salvation. Matthew Ch. 25. You’re better than this, Abby.

How about the unbiblical clause “we are either all saved together or no one is saved“? Not Catholic theology. “Saved” in what sense? In a temporal or eternal sense? This pope’s lack of clarity drives me nuts! Thankfully, we have 2000 yrs of solid magisterial teaching to turn to
