He’s literally sat on the same row as me. If he looks left he’ll see me

I’d like to say I hope they’re taking a good look around tonight and noting the decline they’ve instigated in just two years.. but they’re not here. Still, get behind the lads FFS

This could take years to recover from. We weren’t this much of a mess last time we went down to League Two

The owners are culpable for the majority of this mess with their alienation of caring, hard-working staff and players and their determination to do things their own way. But my god, these players.. some of the most weak-willed, inept I’ve ever seen

This takes me back.. to the days of Peter Taylor when we were fighting to stay in the Football League and there was nobody here. People voting with their feet tonight

“The discontent in the stands is having a detrimental effect on confidence and form of the existing squad” is a quote which is absolutely staggering given the current climate. Good luck tomorrow night would be all I’ll say if it goes belly up again

"Hopefully it'll be all signed and done soon." Sean O'Loughlin insists he will be remaining at Wigan in 2019 - and reveals he's close to signing a new deal with the Super League champions amidst reported interest from Leeds.

Please don’t be positive Gavin. It’s not doing the game’s reputation for moaning any good

This is spot on - but people in the northern hemisphere (and a lot outside of Australia) have believed this for a while. The only way rugby league unlocks its true global potential is via the international game. Hopefully the NRL have realised that now!

I would suspect it was Phil Daly, who is incredibly good at what he does. It looks like a photo on first glance!

Understand that Huddersfield are in talks to try and re-sign former fullback Scott Grix next season. The Giants' interest is very real - though it may mean a player leaving for Grix to return to Huddersfield. More, as always, in .

Also in there.. Matty Fozard will be one of London’s first signings following their return to Super League in 2019. Plus - Leeds have interest in NRL prop Marty Taupau: but it would have to be a huge, huge deal to get the Manly and Kiwis forward over the line and to Headingley.
