Yeah Salford doing some good stuff this off-season, on what I’d suspect is a much smaller budget than some others. A sign of how hard work pays dividends

I don’t offer odds I’m afraid. I think what you’re looking for is a bookmaker 😁

Rod. You advised Ronnie it was time to finish. He’s won the UK this week without breaking sweat. The world number 1 didn’t make it to the BBC’s live broadcast. If you’re looking to bet on snooker there’s only one solid way to make money: Ronnie.

You’d be better off backing Ronnie really Rod. Seems a far more sensible way of investing your hard-earned

Always said that you may not like Eddie H/Matchroom (like he’d care!) but you have to respect his track record in sport, and therefore his observations of rugby league

Salary cap again very heavily mentioned by without even being prompted. Get the feeling it’s something that would have to change if they were to get involved. EH mentioned it in September to me:

Wonder if this has anything to do with still not having a replacement for Ladbrokes too. We’re not far off starting the CHALLENGE CUP without a sponsor

So because Jason Moore sold everyone a fantasist dream we make non-member clubs pay to enter our most important competition? Not for me I’m afraid

No wonder the number of neutral fans attending falls every season. We are in danger of turning the best rugby league competition into a select club tournament. It stopped being a CHALLENGE CUP when we intruduced seeding.

Farcical that Toronto were asked to submit a bond to the RFL on the basis of them entering the Challenge Cup and reaching the final. Not surprised they told them to stick it. Why invite overseas teams into the game if you’re scared they’re going to win something. What a sport

I love the nonchalant celebration after the first one. As if to say: "I can't believe any of you are even surprised I've just hit that"

Another great signing for Halifax. They're going to be real strong contenders again next year

"I think it's massively underestimated what we do down here from people in the north." London chairman David Hughes believes the club's junior development programmes are going under the radar from people in the game's heartlands:

the players want a voice in the game for no other reason than to have their say. They don’t want millions of pounds or to take over the game, they just want to be treated fairly and their opinions heard. RT

Rupp’s statement is damning. Seems he finally realised a) his investment was in great danger and b) this bloke had single-handedly destroyed the values and beliefs of a football club. We move forward now with Julian and Stefan
