We've got resident foxes in my neighbours back garden, bold as brass sunbathing during the day as the garden is overgrown and they don't use it. I enjoy a fix of wild nature!

Always cool to get mail from . And this one seems to indicate that Knaves Over Queens is out in paperback in the USA. You should buy it - I've got a story in it and it's one of my best.

I’ll take a proper social media break this time to try and finish my book. For those curious, I leave a link here to my short story which people seemed to like a lot. Conor is one of my main characters in the book now. Take care and stay safe, everyone.

Not quite to the phase yet but if any readers would like an ARC (.pdf) of Widowmaker, pls. let me know. Framed for murder by rivals, a company detective in a 1907 Nevada mining town realizes he’s been fighting on the wrong side of a brutal labor war.

If I see a film on TV that's already started, I check if it's around a bit I like, watch just that bit...then flick over. But I wouldn't put in a DVD just to watch a specific part

I'm no grammar Nazi *coughs* expert, but as the quoted stuff is within the sentence, it should be before the full stop if it's the last word in the last sentence. Same logic - if it was in the middle of the sentence it would come before the punctuation of the sentence.

Thanks, I've been distracted by short story competitions, but it's definitely calling to me again now! Good luck with yours too ^__^

Depends on time between sessions for me, & how far I got. I'm a planner, with notes/plan split by chapter, so if I finish mid chapter I definitely "refresh" my mind of what I wrote. At the moment I've taken a break from my novel, so will read it all again when I go back to it!

To celebrate the release of Road Brothers in paperback: I'm giving away 3 copies at random to people who reply with the name of their favourite brother (road or otherwise). Here are some of Jorg's, in case you need reminding.

I 100% do this when - I also abbreviate their name into a short nickname if it's a long fantastical type name
