We totally endorse this @alsoknownasLJ list, particularly @m_older at #1. We might add @SarahPinsker's Song For A New Day, @Annaleen's The Future Of Another Timeline. Oh, and our indie anthology A Punk Rock Future is pretty Clash-heavy... twitter.com/alsoknownasLJ/…

The most Clash-inspired stories in A Punk Rock Future are by @Spencimus @AWEichenlaub @WendyNikel @josh_rountree @PACornellWriter. But almost all of the 26 stories owe something to The Clash. But what punk doesn't? Get it here: indiebound.org/book/978173377…

I'd suggest some of Moorcock's Jerry Cornelius stories, considering many were written in the period of punk's birth and they have something of the same attitude as the title track. Recent novella of his: Pegging the President (2018).

Actually, I curate lists to promote works by authors and characters from underrepresented demographics that may not get as much attention from a largely homogeneous industry. It's a matter of punk rock ethos over time period.
