50ish members turned out for a very lively general meeting tonight. We voted on a new campaign (public control of buses - watch this space), heard about amazing victories locally & across the country & elected some new officers. The union grows!

This is how Lawrence Hill main road looks this morning. Residents can’t even walk near the bin because of the smell. Can & do something about this. This area need more attention as we see the problem recurring.

. is an impressive organisation. It's a union based around direct action & community issues, like renting & dodgy landlords. Now they are developing an app to help members resist intimidation from landlords, but they need your help!

Today marks built on the principle of ‘housing for all’. If we can build council homes after the devastation of WW1, we can build it now. But we won’t get it without building the power from below to demand it from the state. Join the fight, join ACORN✊

It’s hard to fight back when you’re alone. But as members of ACORN, we aren’t alone. is a community based, direct action union. We know we can win big - like when our campaigns have beat international banks - but the real fight takes place in our neighbourhoods.
