MORE: Both teens are facing assault charges, but prosecutors may very well tack on additional counts (such as murder) now that the victim’s passed away. Police have not yet identified the victim or either suspect. The attack occurred Friday around 5:30p.

BREAKING: has charged a 15yo + 16yo boy for the random, unprovoked attack of a 59yo man at the Great Frederick Fair. That man died today at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. Sources say the teens (currently in juvenile custody) may have been playing the “knockout game.”

STORY: A large fight prompted officials to call the Paint Branch High School v. Springbrook High School varsity football game prematurely Friday. Cops arrested at least two people including a Springbrook student. It's unclear what triggered the violence.

LISTEN: Here is the police scanner audio... The crowd became so unruly, 3D officers in Silver Spring requested extra manpower from neighboring 4D in Wheaton. K9 units and the county-wide supervisor were also called in. Eyewitnesses reported seeing around 30 squad cars on scene.

MORE: A teen later called 911 to report he was robbed of his iPhone XR during the melee at Paint Branch. The victim said the suspect implied he had a gun, but never showed a weapon. Paint Branch beat Springbrook 50-6. says the game was called due to the fight.

STORY: Police sources tell me this criminal case highlights the seedy underbelly of vaping, and how many teens are caught in the middle of it. Cops have not charged the victim with any crimes. The three young suspects each face up to 80 years in prison.

UPDATE: A Winston Churchill High School student was robbed at gunpoint during a THC vape cartridge deal gone wrong. The Sept. 12, incident happened in a sleepy, Potomac, Md. neighborhood. Police have charged these three Clarksburg, Md. men - ages 20, 16 and 16 - with the crime.

STORY: The victim recalled bleeding and being in physical pain for days following the incident. The victim also claimed Smart told him to keep quiet on more than one occasion. Smart is out on bond while awaiting trial. He faces up to 21 years in prison.

MORE: During an interview with detectives, Smart suggested the victim was either having "psychological issues" or was attempting to "bribe him." Smart recalled the victim had been a shy child and struggled living in America, nearly 4,000 miles away from his parents in Spain.

NEW: 53yo Theodore Smart of Rockville, Md. is accused of sexually assaulting a 9yo boy back in 2012. The victim (now 16yo and living in Spain) had taken part in a foreign exchange program through The Heights School in Potomac. Smart and his family hosted the boy for one month.
