The first part of our five-point economic plan is 'investing in people', which is why our Workplace Relations and Safety policy is all about supporting working New Zealanders by raising wages, protecting their health and safety, growing jobs and investing in the economy.

Great to see another one of our awesome and passionate class of 2017 on . talks about the future proofing of the far north by future proofing the communities and the environment as they are the economy 🙌 National MP mentions....roads. And roads.

We’ve just announced Labour’s 2020 Education Policy, to build a stronger, fairer education system. We’ll significantly close the pay gap between education and care centre teachers, because we know quality teaching and leadership is what makes the difference for learners.

Like a lot of people I have found the victim impact statements profoundly moving, in fact heartbreaking. But my overriding emotion is pride. Pride in their courage and dignity. Proud to be able to call myself their fellow New Zealander.

What an incredible career for Laura Langman. 100% given every minute, every game. The very best there is as a player, leader and person. Thanks for it all, and all the best for what cones next.

23 846 tests processed yesterday is a monumental number. (With 7 positives, all linked to cluster also an encouraging sign) Great work from testers and lab staff and patience from those being tested.
