Intro Foods Ss tested mashed potatoes using red (waxy) and russet (mealy) potatoes. Varieties of potatoes have differing best uses. Today Yukon gold potatoes made excellent roasted parmesan potatoes.

Desserts by Design class calculated bakers % in a base pancake recipe, then designed their own signature pancake formula. Today Ss tested their formulas and enjoyed the fruit of their labor. All agreed food science is tastey.

It is vital that every high school student takes at least one CTE course before they graduate. It will prepare them for any future they might have; going straight to the workforce or to college.

Are you going to college but you don't know what you want to do with your life? If this is you, I encourage you to do some research on the Family and Consumer Sciences degree. FCS Teach has a 100% placement rate. That means a job as soon as you come out of college!
