“Too often, a lack of awareness and understanding can sadly impact on autistic people and their families’ daily lives and lead to social isolation. We need to recognise the challenges that autistic people may face, so we can celebrate their unique talents and skills.”

You say you love me? Love my kids. We’re a package deal. Don’t avoid them because of their autism and say you love me.

One of the worst things about being a special-needs parent? When the family you grew up in avoids contact with your children because your kids with autism spectrum “creep out” their cousins. Get some knowledge and have compassion people!

Bring the mom of several kids I can tell you it’s terribly difficult to find a maternity dress that doesn’t get much, much shorter when you sit down. The baby bump takes the extra length you thought you had

I keep hoping to see you’re going to do a few episodes to countdown to the cutest royal baby ever. Deep dive into how they plan to raise the baby. Title or no title? How much will Doris be there? Please think about it!

Is it a bad sign I’ve already watched every cheesy Christmas movie there is on Netflix?

I have the same talent! That or I somehow cut the paper crookedly and half of it is one inch too short and the other is two inches too long.

I think Elf on the Shelf has backfired. 4yo has asked me to stop Christmas. Because he’d rather have no Christmas than have to behave for the next 21 days.

Anyone else see the article attributing Nick Fury’s text to Captain Marvel to Nick Cage? Were they mixing up Nick Fury with Marvel character Luke Cage or simply huge fans of ?

I just watched part of a movie where a bike messenger who fixes cars and skateboards throws away his bike because he got into an accident and his bike wheel rim is no longer circular. I don’t think I’ll watch the rest of the movie if he is too dumb to just replace the wheel.

My biggest takeaway is that this is possible. I can talk to my tribe and find ways to solve their pain points and create content that will help

Presumably she put her ban on all things music related after she never heard from her husband again. That would still allow for a small window where she may have encountered de la Cruz’s success and seen her husband’s guitar. (Not to mention the memorial in the center of town)

It occurred to me after watching Coco again...Why didn’t Mama Imelda question why Ernesto de la Cruz was using her husband’s guitar? Or singing her husband’s lyrics? One would assume she read the letters home and had probably heard her husband and daughter singing “Remember Me”

Never tell another parent “It could be worse...” Every parent is different. What might be a breeze for you could be a breaking point for someone else. If you want to be supportive, be present. Listen. Don’t belittle their emotions/struggles.
