80 years ago in 1940 The Depot Lympstone opened, originally RM Exton, renamed RM Lympstone later in WW2. In 1960 it became RM Commando School and was renamed in 1972 to Commando Training Centre where all Royal Marines Commandos are still trained.

Yesterday: 20mins cross-trainer, with arms and shoulders. Tonight: 1hour run (6 miles) then more arms and lots of stretching. (Some knee pain - so a few off running...) with Oh, and... I now have a bike!!! 😁

A great article from . I would add that time is an additional constraint. We often only have time to train success. It is why we believe decentralisation and high quality AAR are so important. Easy access, good quality training allows time to fail, correct and succeed
