Australian Whistleblowers are Persecuted Rather than Praised. Corporations Act 2001 governs corporate whistleblowing in this country. The law & internal policies should protect & encourage, or even reward, people who come forward.

These new Home Office-affiliated Fixated Person's Units are rounding up Australian citizens without charge, forcibly detaining them and injecting them. Cases involving these "Thought Crime ... Pre-Crime Police" will be tested in courts over the next few months.

The alleged detention & forced medication in Queensland under Fixated Persons laws (yes, NSW has them too) of former Origin Energy executive and whistleblower Fiona Wilson. When women get uppity they're demonised & punished. By

Serious question. Who did or is allowed by law, to alert “the unit” that she was required to be placed there?

Fiona posted on Facebook, cc-ing in the then-Minister for Employment & Industrial Relations a post containing some of her evidence. Elsewhere on her FB page was a post of her at a shooting range. The Minister & the QFTAC concluded that this was some sort of threat.

No, she was eventually released & has moved hundreds of kms away from Brisbane, but she's still in the system & must report for regular injections. They are still considering whether to bring her back to Brisbane.
