Make no mistake about it: this is not a "small post", neither is sf model falsified .. this is the cornerstone study that added cointegration to sf analysis (11 Aug) .. must read and must follow!

yeas, that is why I use the 2028-2032 range. global monetary base is $30T (10x US base and btc 2028-2032 would also be 10x)

Contrary to the hype, 's futures did not send the crypto market flying. I break down why Bakkt should be a long-term benefit for BTC in a piece. Thanks to , , and for the insight!

My model doesn't predict purchasing power, it predict USD value. Agree with you that in fact it predict USD hyperinflation ...which is by no means something governments, central banks and economists predict. Interesting thought that the new UoA could be kWh.

S2F model implies that after 2028-2032 bitcoin is worth more than the USD ($3T monetary base), and that USD is no longer a sensible unit of account (UoA) in the model, and has to replaced by another UoA. This is way before subsidy is anywhere near zero or btc price near infinity.

Steve and I agree to disagree. Fees are of course not new coins and thus not flow; it would be like adding transport & storage costs to gold flow. What is objectively not true is that S2F model is broke, correlation & cointegration with price are intact. Steve is just joking.

Yes, that is the general idea: the workshops make it possible for me to do more analysis & modeling and provide data, models & articles for free. Also the networking part of the workshops is crucial, I am quite sure that future projects and partnerships will be created there.

under attack: twice someone tries to broadcast a bad block (proof of work failed: blocks start with only one zero .. 15 min later with not enough zero's). Glad my node rejects this joker immediately!

A stock-to-flow 100 asset, being worth less than gold ... is like a planet 100 astro units from the sun, rotating faster around the sun than Pluto

All data, analysis & models have been free "ALL ALONG" and will be in the future. "MONETIZE THIS" could be easily done by adds & altcoin shilling on this feed, which I never did and will never do. Poll is just to gauge demand for an event that costs considerable time & resources.

Yes, I would be physically there, but small group and no video / pics. I meet a lot of people f2f (mostly investors), just anon on internet / twitter.

I get a lot of questions (about: 1. setting up a node, 2. analyzing & plotting blockchain data, 3. S2F modeling, 4. investing). But time is limited & valuable. Some suggested I should do a workshop (Amsterdam, 25 persons, these 4 topics, hands-on, 0.2btc pp). Would you do it?

look at the chart: # tx goes up and # outputs goes up .. nothing theoretical about it, it is real scaling

Dead serious: Bitmex used logscale in one of their adds and was punished for that by regulators

Thanks man, really appreciate it!! And nice show case that sending $100 only costs 2 cents. BTW "This transaction saved 26% on fees by upgrading to SegWit and could save 13% more by fully upgrading to native SegWit-Bech32"
